Today, the announcement of the Provisional Operating Regulations clearly defines the authority and responsibilities of positions within the Executive Board of the Asian Religious Council for Justice and Peace (ARCJP), referred to as the “ARCJP Charter.” The Charter will come into effect after being adopted at the ARCJP Council meeting. The ARCJP Charter is a thoroughly researched document on the administrative system, rigorously evaluated for the organizational and administrative management rules of the ARCJP Council. The content of the ARCJP Charter is applied according to the standards of the United Nations, state laws, and federal laws of the United States. ARCJP is a non-profit organization registered under U.S. federal law (501c3).
ARCJP conducts research, strategic analysis, and policy planning to develop religious faith, human rights, social relief, environmental sustainability, and social ethical values for indigenous communities. This is done in the spirit of solidarity and the stable development of the values of freedom, justice, and peace in the Asian region. ARCJP is a non-partisan organization. Its purpose is to promote the development of religious freedom, human rights, and the ethical values of religion and social communities, while also advocating for the rights of those oppressed for their religion or who suffer human rights violations. This is in accordance with the standards set forth in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (1948), the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights (1966), and the Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples (2007).
